DataGrade, a Public Benefit Corporation working to increase data literacy and ensure the integrity of data transactions, has joined the Datasphere Initiative as a partner.

DataGrade™ is a risk analysis platform designed to benchmark the internet’s privacy practices. Their grading system examines the relational risk between data transactions online. The service has been built to help companies reduce risk and increase the defensibility of their data operations by accelerating due diligence and providing easy-to-understand guidance that can be shared company-wide.
The Datasphere Initiative and DataGrade will collaborate to explore data literacy and ethics training for organizations working with data. In addition, as part of the Datasphere Initiative’s Global Forum on Sandboxes for Data and the Africa Forum on Sandboxes, DataGrade and the Datasphere Initiative will work together to facilitate dialogue on new ways to help procure data protection assessments and tools.
