Martin Hullin

Data is the soil on which our societies can thrive and the question of its governance goes beyond technology or policy. Achieving this demands a genuinely multistakeholder approach, because only by working together, we can harness the power of data for inclusive innovation and the common good.

A founder of the Datasphere Initiative, Martin Hullin is experienced in working with international organizations to shape policy development on issues related to international digital and data policy, AI and sustainability policy and internet governance. Martin has been Director of the Bertelsmann Stiftung’s Digitalization and the Common Good program since October 2023, where he works with his team to develop innovative approaches that strengthen the common good at the national and international levels.
