The Computers, Privacy and Data Protection (CPDP) conference is a world-leading multidisciplinary event that brings together academics, lawyers, practitioners, policymakers, industry representatives, and civil society to discuss the latest developments in privacy and data protection. Founded in 2007 by research groups from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, the Université de Namur, and Tilburg University, CPDP was established to create an independent platform for the exchange of ideas and to address emerging issues and trends in the field. Over the years, it has expanded to include contributions from 20 academic centers of excellence from Europe, the United States, and beyond, fostering a unique atmosphere of mutual respect and collaboration.
Sophie Tomlinson, Director of Programs at the Datasphere Initiative, will speak at the CPDP panel on AI regulatory sandboxes on May 22nd, where she will share insights on the role of sandboxes in AI regulation and the regulatory sandboxes.
