The African Law & Tech Network (ALT) Summit 2024, organized by the Center for Law and Innovation, Hackapath, and Rwandan ICT Chamber, took place on March 13-15, 2024, in Kigali, Rwanda.

Under the theme “Shaping the Future – Navigating Digital Frontiers: Legal Considerations and Tech Innovations,” the summit aimed to bridge the intersection of innovation technology and law and provide a platform for dialogue on Africa’s socio-economic development through technological and legal frameworks. The event featured keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, and B2B collaboration opportunities to foster pan-African business growth.

Justin Bryant, Lead, Global Sandboxes for Data of the Datasphere Initiative participated as a speaker at the masterclass session “Applying Sandbox as a Regulatory Model: Insights from the Datasphere Sandbox for Africa Project“, which took place on Day 1 of the Summit on March 13, 2024, at 3.45pm – 4.45pm CAT.
