Data Protection, Cooperation and Innovation in Latin America

CPDP LatAm 2023 was organized under the theme “Data Protection, Cooperation and Innovation in Latin America” on July 19-20, 2023 at FGV in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. CPDP Latam is the Latin American platform to discuss privacy, data protection, and technology.

Carolina Rossini, Director for Policy & Research at the Datasphere Initiative, co-organized this event, and spoke at two sessions:

1. “Exploring the Evolving World of Cross-Border Transfers: Contracts, Adequacy, Certifications, and More in 2023 and Beyond” organized by The Future of Privacy Forum on July 20, 2023, at 10:00 am – 11:20 am BRT (local time).
2. “Data Transfers and eCommerce: Towards International Cooperation” organized by Diplo Foundation & Women Inside Trade on July 20, 2023, at 11:40 am – 1:10 pm BRT (local time).
