Adam Zable is the Director of Emerging Technologies at the Digital Trade and Data Governance Hub, a research institute affiliated with George Washington University in Washington, D.C. His work and research interests focus on the intersection of emerging technologies, data governance, and democracy.
During his tenure at the Hub, Adam spearheaded the development of the Global Data Governance Mapping Project, assessing national-level data governance efforts across the globe. He has also organized conferences on the international policy implications of extended reality and on data governance in the age of generative AI; authored papers on data governance, public participation in national AI strategies, and the impact of extended reality on national competitiveness; and moderated and presented at webinars.
Adam holds a Master of Public Policy from the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy in Erfurt, Germany. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Binghamton University in New York, with a major in Philosophy, Politics, and Law.
Adam currently resides in Freiburg, Germany, where he enjoys cooking with his wife, planning their next adventure, and exploring the Black Forest.
