The Datasphere Initiative is pleased to welcome Bits N’ Bytes Cybersecurity Education as an in-kind project partner to support and collaborate on the #Youth4OurDataFuture project.
Bits N’ Bytes Cybersecurity Education is a nonprofit organization focused on educating and empowering individuals with essential cybersecurity skills through interactive workshops, research-based blogs, and social media advocacy. They are raising awareness about crucial topics like password security and privacy, empowering individuals to protect themselves in our digital age.
“In an age of real-time connectivity, Bits N’ Bytes Cybersecurity has an impressive dedication to equipping youth with cybersecurity skills. We are thrilled to partner with them on our #Youth4OurDataFuture project. Their work aligns with our effort to build a more equitable data future,” said Lorrayne Porciuncula, Executive Director, Datasphere Initiative.
Bits N’ Bytes Cybersecurity Education will join the #Youth4OurDataFuture project as an engagement partner to spread the word about the Youth4Data Video Competition and support the project’s deployment. This partnership will foster collaboration between the two organizations as they work to drive new and innovative ways to data governance and ensure youth voices are at the core of the discussions on the data economy.
“We are committed to bringing youth voices to the table, and this partnership with the Datasphere Initiative is to do exactly that. Gen Z belongs in the room to discuss the emerging technology issues that will define our generation, and share our lived experiences to catalyze change,” said Kyla Guru, Founder of Bits N’ Bytes Cybersecurity Education.
